IRC Interact

(Fill out the form below if you're interested in volunteering for Interact)

IRC has created Interact, a program that will place university students in high school classrooms as teachers of international relations. Interact will educate high school students in the areas of geography and current international affairs using an interactive curriculum. The program's purpose is to foster greater interest and awareness in the political events of an increasingly globalized world, and to give students a foundation for understanding the role of the United States in the sphere of international affairs.

The program consists of five sessions all held on Friday mornings throughout the fall semester. The program was featured last year in the 'Prince,' for more information, read the article.

Please sign up if you are interested in the program. Volunteers who are chosen for the program must attend all five sessions, in order to establish a meaningful relationship with the high school students. Please contact Emily Weigel with questions about the program.

Daylight/Twilight High School
Five 80-minute sessions between the hours of 7:30 and 11:30 on Friday mornings will be offered at the Daylight/Twilight High School.
