Dear Prospective Delegates,
Welcome to PICSim 2010! My name is Angelina Caruso, and I am the Chargé d’Affaires for
this year's Princeton Interactive Crisis Simulation! I am delighted that you are interested in our Conference
and look forward to working with you to make this experience as engaging, exciting and logistically smooth as possible.
PICSim 2010 will be held from February 25, 2010 to February 28, 2010. Our rates for this year's conference are as follows:
- Conference Fees & Deadlines:
- Early Registration: Early Registration will run through October 20, 2009. Schools that register early will be given priority in committee assignments.
- Delegation Fee = $60 per school
- Delegate Fee = $105 per delegate
- Regular Registration: Regular Registration will take place on a rolling basis until the Conference reaches capacity. Slots fill up quickly, though, so schools are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure a place at PICSim 2010.
- Delegation Fee = $60 per school
- Delegate Fee = $120 per delegate
- Payment Deadline: Payment in full is required from all schools NO LATER THAN January 17, 2010.
If payment is not RECEIVED (rather than simply postmarked) by this date, then schools will forfeit their spots at PICSim 2010.
In order to maintain the intensive and intimate experience of PICSim and to
ensure that all delegates are engaged to the fullest, we keep PICSim at a
relatively small size - only 165 delegates. Therefore, we are forced to cap
delegation sizes at 12 delegates. If you have any questions regarding this
limit please contact me.
Hotel Fees & Deadlines:
- All delegates will be staying at the beautiful and historic Nassau Inn,
within easy walking distance of Princeton's campus-just across the street and
surrounded by several Zagat-rated restaurants.
- The fees per room are $132 per night (although subject to change). This rate
does not include New Jersey sales tax of 7% or State and Local Occupancy Fees of 8%.
- The rate does not include New Jersey sales tax of 7% or State and Local Occupancy Fees of 8%. Cots are not included in room prices but can be provided
at an extra fee. For more detailed information check our website's
Hotel Information section.
- The deadline for hotel reservations at the Nassau Inn is February 2, 2010
The PICSim website (www.picsim.org) will provide information (as it is updated) regarding
accommodations,
transportation,
meals and
registration for the Conference.
Please take the time to explore the site, and I am sure most of your questions
will be answered. If you still have any questions though, do not hesitate to contact me at
picsim@princeton.edu!
I encourage you to register soon since
space is filling up quickly, and we would hate for your school to be left out!
I hope you will decide to attend PICSim 2010, and I look forward to meeting you
in Princeton this February!
Sincerely,
Angelina Caruso ’11
